My name is Coda, and I’ll be your best friend once I get to know you!

When I came into my foster home, I was nervous around people, other dogs, noises, and fast movements. Now, I’m a completely different pug! I’m much more confident and am showing everyone just how sweet and funny I can be! I love to play with my foster parents, siblings, and toys. There were small children and cats in my old home and I got along great with them too.

I love to snuggle and give kisses to my foster parents. I will hop right in my person’s lap when given the chance! I also make the cutest happy noises when I see my foster daddy.

I like to be with my people and will follow them from room to room. I would love a home that has plenty of time and attention to share with me. When I do have to be alone, I do well in my kennel.

I’m housebroken aside from a few accidents when I was first adjusting to my foster home. I’m not a marker and at my previous home I even learned to use a potty pad in the garage when the winter weather was bad.

I do still bark at unfamiliar people and dogs. I haven’t been around many new people so that is something we’re working on. Sometimes I even bark at the people on TV! Even though I bark at dogs I don’t know, I’m still nice and show some interest as long as introductions are calm and I have some time to warm up.

I’m looking for a forever home to give (and receive!) lots of love. My perfect family would have time to spend with me and understand that it may take a few days to warm up to them. They would also help me learn to socialize and get more comfortable around other people and dogs. I’m an affectionate and charming guy, and would love a family that helps me show it!
